Endless is a classic shooter. It looks quite like fort apocalypse, but it is quite a different game. Starting out with a small helicopter one has to sink in deep 'endless' dungeons to conquer the game.

This is were it changes from Fort Apocalypse, it is a far more puzzley game that has you make strategic decisions all the time to be able to go through the levels. It is hard, mind you, offering a constant flow of new enemies, not allowing you to relax. It inspires you to go on and on.

The graphics are still okay, having a polished look about them even now. One can see that John Vanderaart is a man who likes perfection and isn't satisfied until everything feels right.

John 'DRJ' Vanderaart is a legendary dutch programmer, which enjoyed a bit a Jeff Minter-look during the eighties. He also made many creativity packages, allowing C64 user to exploit their machine fully.

Radarsoft made more games, also rather controversial ones, like Hollanditis, about the placement of nuclear bombs in the Netherlands. Best selling was it's Topograhy educational (Maps 64) series.
